I'm glad you don't have to take medications for awhile, though. But I do remember you drinking a ton on your mission...good times on the mission.Ashlee https://www.blogger.com/profile/00474911485992584457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8463266006648463076.post-54096263818560971802010-01-14T23:47:30.419-05:002010-01-14T23:47:30.419-05:00Ditto to the others comments- you are handling thi...Ditto to the others comments- you are handling this change with remarkable poise. Thanks for the post...I'm sure I'll be referring to it on the day my doc gives me the news. And Juli made a great point...it's just a prescription to what we should be doing.

~gennygenevievehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13855844935996837940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8463266006648463076.post-38827262710633393482010-01-11T21:47:15.802-05:002010-01-11T21:47:15.802-05:00I remember saying (or at least thinking) that in s...I remember saying (or at least thinking) that in some ways, being diabetic is like just getting a _prescription_ to do the things you know you should be doing, anyway. But that doesn't make it fun (and at least you don't have both parents' diseases... did I tell you about my friend at the temple who does?)

Hang in there.

Love yaJulinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10373331914121855263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8463266006648463076.post-22045046494970875282010-01-11T01:07:05.896-05:002010-01-11T01:07:05.896-05:00E,

And also giving us all further proof that arguing with mom is fruitless and ends with her being right. She is a wise woman who I'm sure wishes she wasn't right all the time. It's a lot of pressure. Back to you...I will say since you are cutting back on excessive sweets, your sweet tooth will adapt and demand less from you. It won't go away, but it will be happy with a sugar-free fudgsicle or lite vanilla ice cream with fruit mixed in. That beast can be tamed.Beckiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12948121681694518212noreply@blogger.com
